About PenguinSolver

Make room for independent thinking.

PenguinSolver brings valuation, financial quality and momentum into one research workspace. It is designed for individual investors who understand that a model is a set of assumptions, not a prediction.

What this release provides

The first release covers an S&P 500 membership snapshot with annual SEC financial statements, twelve documented research methods and personal valuation scenarios. The data model separates securities, issuers, financial statements and market inputs so that coverage can expand to other US-listed companies.

Privacy

PenguinSolver does not create user accounts, sell personal data or include advertising or third-party analytics scripts. Watchlists and personal assumptions use browser local storage. Imported files are processed in the browser. You can remove personal inputs on the Data & sources page or clear your browser site storage; clearing site storage also deletes your watchlist.

When this site is hosted, its hosting provider necessarily processes normal web requests, including connection metadata such as IP addresses. Cloudflare’s own privacy policy describes its processing. We do not add tracking cookies in the application.

Research limitations

Financial information may be incomplete, stale, restated or extracted incorrectly. Valuations can change substantially with assumptions. No result is personalized investment advice or an instruction to transact. Verify the filing, current price and capital structure before making a decision.

Independence and attribution

PenguinSolver is not affiliated with S&P Dow Jones Indices, the SEC or any listed company. S&P 500 and company names belong to their respective owners. Constituent data comes from the community-maintained datasets project under its published PDDL license. Financial facts are sourced from SEC filings.
